2Q18 +0.56%: If there is no wind...row



This quarter reminded me of a video I saw for Elon Musk during the Code Conference of 2016. He argued that it is probable that we are living in a simulation. I think in the last 90 days, Ready Player One hit a glitch in this video game called Simulation Earth. How else could you make sense of what is happening? The dictators, that were bragging about the size of their nuclear crotch on twitter for the past year threatening the world existence, met in Singapore last June and now are best buddies. Argentina and Germany are out of the World Cup. Netflix shares are hoovering the $400.

1Q18 -2.07%: Bumpy Road Ahead


What a start of the year...January made it look like 2018 would be a great year similar to 2017 but starting February we saw a market pullback/correction. In the first days of March, the market recovered most of the pullback till Mr. Trump came in with all his ideas on tariffs specially attacking the Chinese. This definitely impacted the market and we are seeing more pronounced movements entering into April.

3Q17 +8.74%: A good start


August 7th was our first official day in operations. Ironically enough, the Korean decided to make some noise on the 8th affecting the portfolio and specially our asian holdings for the weeks that followed. However, we still ended our first quarter in operation (in fact a little less than two months) with a profit of 8.74% thanks to the acquisition of our largest holding...NYX.
